My definition of greatness

is to be greater than your environment,

to be greater than your body,

and to be greater than time.

And if you do, you will be great.

I mean, that’s it!” – Dr. Joe Dispenza

In response to Kathi's post: In response to ♡ ˚ Allowing.... Better Best-Ideal's post

Recently, I added an additional/intention  word to my alias- IDEAL.

While growth/self-care is always progressive... I found... in the midst of my regularly devoted time(s) to take care of myself...

allowing the energy/focus of  IDEAL, gave me a GREATER availability of  clarity (  pieces/and wholeness) of an inner/outer blueprint... melded with creating a better life for myself ... even during the Pandemic.

I say  'even during the Pandemic', because we are surrounded by daily uncertainty...

I have made a commitment to keep 'upgrading' my self care from 'foundation-up' .

By adding the word IDEAL... I instill a loving personal  persistence -with an ongoing understanding of completeness, that I was seeking to improve before 'current times'

IN  MY NOW

I have had some amazing experiences.. with Allowing.... Better Best.

By adding-Ideal, already experienced a shift in thought/feelings/action/outcome

Looking forward to progressively sharing/and being shared with(:

thanks again for creating this 'every Wednesday Global pandemic/Global initiative of self care, self love meeting.

Yes...It ...is ... opening up so much for  me. Thanks Kath.

Will have more to share, as I continue to listen what is now coming up. The one affirmation that surfaces for me with regard to my experience:

I fully understand that I have the power to alter my life

It is not that I didn’t believe this before... It’s simply with a more ‘ideal‘ perspective.(:

a related quote I love by Molly Gordon:

Life Coach Molly Gordon asks Where am I in respect to this moment? Where am I in respect to me? What is the moment calling from me?

Where am I in respect to this moment?

In this moment I am peaceful and confident toward living a life that will produce my joyous desires for myself and the good I am capable of sharing with others along the way.

Where am I in respect to me?

In respect to myself I am allowing an ideal vision in all that I am and all that I do. I trust myself to do what is needed.

What is this moment calling from me?This moment is asking me to have more compassion for myself and allowing myself to further pace myself between all actions/interactions.

Resting and pausing are very good.

Continuing on as I see fit is very good too.

      Set Out Reminders for Yourself

Fill your environment with things that connect you with the feeling of love.

Move from Suffering to Simplicity

Instead of choosing the harder approach, ask yourself how you can make things easier on yourself. Make it a game to find out how you can keep things simple and easy. Remember, there’s no need to suffer!

Keep a Daily Gratitude Journal

Keep a gratitude journal. Since what you focus on expands, write down all of the wonderful things that happened in your day, as well as the things you are grateful for. Remember, one can have gratitude for seemingly small things, too, like a cat purring, a dog wagging its tail, a child’s smile, clean bed-sheets, the healthy meal you had, a good book, and so on. You get to choose what you focus on, and gratitude is a very healing emotion that is so good for your body.

If you turn these activities into your habits each day, you can capture all the proof that Life loves you, which can help eliminate doubt and can help you give and receive from Life fully. When you know that life loves you, your body knows it!

I agree. For everyone affected by the pandemic, its important to pace yourself and to be gentle when its time to be gentle. Yes to gratitude... Take time in the middle of uncertainty to look up - at the sun rise and sun set... and feel the wind on your face and in your hair. Use all five of your senses... and enjoy the sounds of birds, children at play and sounds of people being kind and helpful to each other...

Build inner peace with love and gratitude...

Thank you for shining a light on the multitude of sacrafices that all of our essential workers provide on an ongoing basis.

I join you in lifting up all essential workers for their service and their selfless contribution!!

Thank YOU for all that you do!!

To all essential workers:

You arise like a light in the darkness, you are gracious and full of compassion.

You show goodness and lend, and you use discretion with your affairs.

You shall be an everlasting remembrance... your heart is fixed, it is established.

You shall not be afraid to give to the poor and the most needy.

You raised up the poor out of the dust, and lifted the needy out of the dunghill.

Your rightousness will endure forever, who humbled them self to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!

Welcome back to this weeks global pandemic/ global initiative of self care.

I start this message off with 3 affirmations written by Kindra Beattie:

”When I release my resistance to loves’ presence, I am able to receive what I need - whats trying to come into my life for my highest good.”

“”I embrace new beginnings because they are rich in hope and possibilities.”

“”I honor endings because they give birth to new beginnings.”

____________________________________________________

My thoughts for this meeting today include thoughts on Spirit and Spirit place, new beginnings and endings.

For me, "Spirit" is always truth.  "Spirit" always knows "Spirit....."  And, Spirit knows, not judges.

I recognize that this pandemic is like a cosmic earth quake that caused a new beginning and a renewed unity in the community which is healing the perception of separation.

For all of our world brothers and sisters who have been impacted by the pandemic,

I continue to send energetic transmissions of prayers, blessings, love and peace...

Know that this world is a school, not a home.

The following affirmations have been taken from ACIM: (A course in miracles),

written by Helen Schumcman and William Thetford.

"I feel the Love of God within me now."

"The peace of God is shining within me now."

"I bless the world because I bless myself."

"I want the peace of God."

"I call upon God's name and on my own."

"God's name can not be heard without a response."

What has the pandemic taught you?

“Radical Acceptance is the ability to face hardships with greater love and deeper awareness.
Contemplation shapes radical acceptance as a way to choose love and peace over anger and despair.
Begin by finding this within ourselves before helping others.

What the pandemic taught me:

  1. I learned that I need to exercise everyday! Its about movement and joy! It feels good to open up my lungs and exercise. It feels the best when I finish and I keep my vow to myself for health benefits sake!!
  2. I need to have something that I really enjoy and that I look forward to.  Something that I "can't wait" to get back to! Like a great book or a creative project like crafts, beads, or even a puzzle for 15 to 30 minutes.  The main ingredient is that its something that I really enjoy...
  3. Getting involved in a book club is fun! The once weekly meeting is always nice and I look forward to it and to the content.
  4. Connection...  I truly need to connect with others.  This connection influences my vitality...  It is a basic fundamental need, to be connected to others!  Their spirit and their joy elevates me! Even if they are struggling, our connection is invaluable and is a source of vitality. Its not just vitality, there is a true physiological need for connection... its really important to recognize this as a basic need. It makes me responsive towards nurturing and vitalizing all of these connections...

I have to say that my experience of this pandemic has taught me a lot about my self and about my needs. I have a fuller appreciation of both self and of others, and our basic needs.

Moving beyond awareness of basic needs, I learned a great deal about where mankind is at. I have a glimpse of where are, and I feel like we are in many ways, mankind is like a child who does not know fully who and what he is, or how much this child will need to grow and need to take ownership of his role of saving our planet... We must meet the demands for serious change. And we need to work together in order to accomplish fundamental change which begins with embracing the recognition for this change. We need to harness our finest gifts that we are all capable of developing and we need leaders who will work towards this future.

What we say and do has consequences!

Great question Kathi!

The pandemic has taught me even more of the valuable use and understanding of my energy.

In response to Kathi's post:

Yes, as I begin my day, I would not think of jumping into my day without acknowledging how I would like to feel.
The moment I focus on anything outside myself  I lessen my possibilities for myself or others.
One cannot center themselves using the thoughts of someone else’s center. It is a real centering that is all about us... so it can include harmony with and for all else we engage with.

I believe it’s a nice appearing thing to say how other oriented we are in terms of caring/ compassion /loving/ giving... Though if compassion doesn’t start with yourself ... and you engage with many in service oriented work or in engage with few ... who want anything from you... how much can you truly give and for how long without centering your own energy and allowing it to be all it can be?

Now imagine coming from your spirit place, feeling centered , harmonious and free... Love is simply in the air... with all other wonderful harmonizing qualities. It is this energy that only knows how to not over extend. It only knows how to be, for self for all connections made. There is a healthy detachment and connection simultaneously.

When You Feel You Have To Vrs Wanting To -Jennifer Louden

Ground yourself in your power.

Feel yourself here in the present moment. All of you.

Drop the future and the past like letting go of heavy ropes.

Remember that choosing how you spend your life’s energy is always ultimately up to you and owning that truth liberates your power.

Ask yourself, “Who says I have to?” Sometimes this is enough to realize no one has, but you. Take back your projections, your idea of duty, of being a good person or employee, by next asking yourself:

“What will satisfy me?” What will be enough for you? How will you know you fulfilled that which you declare will be enough, dependent only on you and your values?

But let’s say there is someone saying you have to do _____. Maybe that someone is a boss or the bank. Then it’s time to ascertain what will satisfy them. Has your boss told you what the standards are for the report you are doing? Has your thesis advisor made it clear what you need to do for your research? Has your partner told you what she wants from you around planning the holidays? Have you asked?

Procrastination thrives when you don’t know what is enough. Take back your power and decide, negotiate, or clarify.

Yes, thank you for what you shared. I agree, its very important to focus within at the start of each new day...

I want to "pop" out from the question about "what the pandemic taught you," and pop on to the question of "What will the year of 2021 bring?"

And, "What will it be like in 2021?  When we can we go back to being normal?  When can I hug my friends and family again?"

Alan Cohen, who is one of the people who has done a lot of work around the book ACIM, A course in miracles recently wrote in a blog that "we can define ourselves as Covid victims, survivors or witnesses. We could just as easily see ourselves as Covid students or masters, empowered by the spiritual lessons we learned. We could also rise entirely beyond Covid and choose an idenity that has nothing to do with it...  As a spiritual being, you are immune to anything that happens in this world. You will emerge unscathed from this physical life. You don't have to wait until you become enlightened or die to rise into wholeness. You can choose to identify with that self now."

I endorse rising into wholeness.

I choose an identity of a mindful connection to a healthy planet and healthy minded people.

I welcome the spring of the new year of 2021.

I welcome all of the good that new change brings!

I embrace 'Spirit" inside with every new step, I step forward in newness and in joy!

I joyfully welcome many diverse new possibilities which I will loving infuse into the sphere of transformation and unbridled identity.

I create with a grateful, joyful, loving, free spirit.

I connect with all of nature, and all of natures animals and their sacred habitat connects with me.

We are one, mankind, nature, our earth, we are one.

I connect and my connections thrive and multiply.

Unity is empowering people to work together!

I see possibilities and growth everywhere. I see people coming together that want all world governments to start focusing and prioritizing on protecting and preserving the earth, and eliminating toxic emissions.

I see that the world governments must be forced to function. They must eliminate cars and go electric.

The world governments must stop serving the hyper rich corporate owners and they must start serving the world and the people.

We need leaders who serve the people, not themselves.

And, prioritizing on universal healthcare for all.

Lets work together -  to stop our earth from falling into the next pandemic.

Yeah, stop buying guns and munitions.

Start re-planting forests and preserving wildlife and their natural habitat.

Thank you for bringing up some powerful questions that will truly evoke immediate valuable access into self care:

Here are some of the questions that Jennifer Louden uses as soul-prompters:

• What small act of kindness could I offer myself in the next hour?

Thats a really great question! And, I don't have an immediate answer!! I do know that I am working on my self by participating on this thread, and I am sincerely trying on this quesiton.

Kindness could include a nice walk and spend time enjoying the night sky. I love that! Maybe after that, I could take a nice hot bubble bath with epsom salt to relax my muscles... and read some new affirmations before bed.

• How connected am I to my heart these days? When did I last feel connected to myself?

I feel very connected to my heart! I experience great inner peace. I will distinguish connected vs empowered. I am aware of both and I am a work in process.

• What desires want to be heard?

Another excellent question! There are several, however thay are logistical and not exactly personal. Happiness is a lifetime greatest achievement! I am content with my self and with all that I have achieved.

• What life insights have I been steering my life by lately? What life insights do I wish I’d been using to steer my life?

Ihave been reading a lot lately. I am in one book club and we are reading ACIM. Its amazing, what all I'm learning about my perceptions and their impact. I am learning to basically break down my perceptions and see things without judgement and without fear. I also discovered how subbornand unwilling I can be, however, once you become aware of something, you can not go back as the same unchanged person.  And I love learning to overcome ego with spirit; its liberating and it removes unworkability. It creates opportunities for non-judgement, understanding others and connection.

• Body, what do you want to tell me about what I need to find my center again?

Awww! At this moment, I have a good center. Last night I woke up in the middle of the night, which is unusual. I turned on youtube a binaural beats video and that was very helpful. I instantly went to sleep and slept very well. I feel comfortable with my center, over all and I have good alignment with my priorities.

thank you Kathi for revealing your inner self and experience using  Jennifer Louden’s  trigger  questions . I loved reading where you are!

What small act of kindness could I offer myself in the next hour?

It is the wee hours of the morning and I have woken just enough to respond to these questions. I worked today and will work thru the days coming up. The kindness I offer myself is the wonderful sleep I offered myself when I got home , the wakefulness I feel right now to focus on myself, and the beautiful sleep I will return to as soon as I am ready.

For awhile I haven't been  particularly happy for ‘never’ having enough ‘me-time’ . I have begun to take pride in my unique sleep:wake schedule so I can have more  powerful quality me-time.

How connected am I to my heart these days? I am very connected to my heart; hence, me/ time  ... more time .... more rested time directly from my heart.

When did I last feel connected to myself? Now. And the energy work I do which I utilize to start my days.

What desires want to be heard?

I did some inner child work also this morning(before work)...and realized beyond the messages of my heart... my inner child’s heart also has a strong voice which led me to a great deal more clarity than I was working with before. My inner child has Not been happy. I felt it in my everyday experience... though quite a different thing when really 'in touch' with my inner little one.

She has been trying to tell me she has been having an ‘appropriate tantrum’. She wants to do what she wants, where she wants, when she wants’  With my type of work & schedule this isn’t always possible. Though 'she' is very content that I heard her tantrum. She needs my compassion for the way she’d like to live. Many good things have been happening(daily)  as a result of 'energy work' and prayer, though, all lacked the joyful-jumping up and down, I would’ve thought these experiences warranted. By listening to my inner child (better) ‘we’ can better enjoy outer results now... that my deep inner results/experiences have permitted,. and received  my love and support. I had a wonderfully supportive joyful day earlier today because of this revised relationship with my inner child.

What life insights have I been steering my life by lately? What life insights do I wish I’d been using to steer my life? I am now using the best of me  and I have no woulda coulda should's.

Body, what do you want to tell me about what I need to find my center again?

Stay in touch with my inner child, and my mind ,body and spirit will get proper attention.

Here are a couple of affirmations I wrote to reinforce my experiences:

→My inner child and I are beautifully inseparable.
→   I am completely satisfied with my life and my abilities to flow with it... and I make the prosperous most out of it.

thanks Kathi.

I have gotten in touch with going beyond just my heart... if I may say ... just... not to minimize though.

I am valuing what makes me - me , and teaming with all of my feelings.
Earlier I mentioned my inner child was having an ‘appropriate’ tantrum’

I never used that term before, though quite appropriate. I was celebrating what I was feeling and supporting all of me., It was a perfect way to be there for myself.

I believe that feeling our feelings is the main access to connecting.

I love what you said: "She needs my compassion."

Being heard is tantamount to being understood, being gotten.

It gives one the experience of validation, and relatedness allows for a greater connectedness,  communication and exploration.

Thats the wild card of doing inner child work, is that really powerful things (information, insights, understanding, visions, clarity, even forgiveness be seeing something you never considered before) can come up suddenly and unexpectedly, and it can be creative, spontaneous, synchronous and even miraclous!

In response to Kathi's post:

Yes, agreed, inner child work is pretty amazing.
I’m sure experiences are unique each time ...for each of us

as each growth experience...

represents newness

with each precious

new moment

I had done inner child work 35 years ago, and ‘the work’ and “the experience’  has wonderfully become (even)more blissful  with  a more desirous connection.

I think I know why!😊

She trusts me (even more)

She knows and believes in the life I can give her ...

She knows I don’t just go thru life

I grow thru life

and the lessons and love allow positive purposeful and ‘just what I needed’ - type transformation .

~I believe that our inner children thrive on the memories we give them... the memories, that we want this union, we love them, and we are listening .And we begin to truly live our dreams and take full responsibility for our freedom and joy.

My relationship with her is simply and purely about being ‘right where she is’ and letting her know , I can allow her every bit of time she asks for in the way that best meets her needs in only the best of ways crafted uniquely for her.

A growing relationship with who you really are is answered prayer again and again.
