Hello Bmindful...

I was relaxing today after a pretty trying day at work yesterday... 

It was very busy, and very little down time there.

I was toast! 

My self talk after work, and even part of this morning didn't sound like the me I know. So I labeled me- "in burn out"

I couldn't tell... the extent of things... because my self talk was giving me 'back  talk'

You know when all you seem to know is how you feel, and whatever is occurring at the time feels like the total-culprit(:

How was I going to do things ... so I'd never get this 'worn out' again?

So my goal today was to simply get enough rest so I would  desire to return to work tomorrow.

I kept believing -go back to basics

...though 'knew' if I was truly in burn out... this was 'going to take time'

Later I realized even labeling what I was feeling as the condition of burn out & it was going to take time... I was setting myself to believe ... I had a condition to be wary of. Gentle is one thing, though alarming myself is another.

 

I utilized my tools- ...  acceptance,surrendered, prayer... affirmations,

Affirmations like:

I Am brilliant on the basics.

 I accomplish more and more each day with ease.

  all my plans are falling into place now

  I have a beautiful life for myself right now as never before.

  I am now living a life of design rather than a life of reaction.

What Did I Do?:

acceptance

surrendered

prayer...

affirmations

good nutrition

new intention

gentle with self

REST

Funny how often we think we need to change external things so much, when really its all about not jumping to conclusions-and change the inside.

It is Never about  EVERYTHING' we think it is-when we aren't feeling up to par.

 

 

So ... continued to do what I know works... and took a nap... more than one(:... I continued to rest and chose to listen to some 'gurus' I liked 'back in the day'... while resting.

The last thing I wanted was massive action. I was beat...in so many ways!

so I expected very little... though believed it was still good idea to listen to motivational audios.... on some level.

 I love certain motivational speakers even when I think I'm asleep(:

So without a true expectation of an end result... listened to Brian Tracy, who use to my audio version of a morning coffee/tea.

And fell asleep -lol Hey, I was tired(:

Then I awoke (again) and searched out anything by Anthony {Tony} Robbins.

 

Moral Of My Story- {take away lessons...for now}

  1. Intention matters
  2. Not giving up, doesn't mean to continue on when you need to pause

So by utilizing my tools , and still wasn't  'all better' , was I indicating these things aren't doing anything?

No, not at all...  I allowed much to work, even when I couldn't feel how things were seeping in...

Even when  I felt I wasn't being open to 'more'

everything I did helped!
