♫Frampton I love enjoying this surrender. It is always beyond my wildest imagination of completion
A condensed way of "my story" having a natural innate curiosity for right brain thinking.
Somehow I consciously made secondary the left brain thinking mind, by drinking alcohol to the point where I activated the right brain in other words oblivion, lol.
Mainly though in my 20's I DEVELOPED the capacity to listen clearly to whatever speaker of interest was saying, drunk or sober. That has always been my best quality and also creating a foundation in my consciousness that would support all the info I deemed useful for the next 35 years, in other words if I filed it under wisdom or something I could use I remembered it, and some info was irrelevant of course so it was not part of the structure I was building. So long story short I somehow could sift through stuff and read or hear things with acute intuitive attention.
Our interactions with one another reflect a dance between love and fear.

To best serve the world, seek enlightenment and transcend

really belong to the consciousness of the world;
the individual mind merely processes them

Letting go involves being aware of a feeling, letting it come up, staying with
it, and letting it run its course without wanting to make it different or do
anything about it. It means simply to let the feeling be there and to focus on
letting out the energy behind it. The first step is to allow yourself to have the
feeling without resisting it, venting it, fearing it, condemning it, or moralizing
about it. It means to drop judgment and to see that it is just a feeling. The
technique is to be with the feeling and surrender all efforts to modify it in any
way. Let go of wanting to resist the feeling. It is resistance that keeps the
feeling going. When you give up resisting or trying to modify the feeling, it
will shift to the next feeling and be accompanied by a lighter sensation. A
feeling that is not resisted will disappear as the energy behind it dissipates.
As you begin the process, you will notice that you have fear and guilt
over having feelings; there will be resistance to feelings in general. To let
feelings come up, it is easier to let go of the reaction to having the feelings in
the first place. A fear of fear itself is a prime example of this. Let go of the
fear or guilt that you have about the feeling first, and then get into the feeling
itself.
When letting go, ignore all thoughts. Focus on the feeling itself, not on
the thoughts. Thoughts are endless and self-reinforcing, and they only breed
more thoughts. Thoughts are merely rationalizations of the mind to try and
explain the presence of the feeling. The real reason for the feeling is the
accumulated pressure behind the feeling that is forcing it to come up in the
moment. The thoughts or external events are only an excuse made up by the
mind.
As we become more familiar with letting go, it will be noticed that all
negative feelings are associated with our basic fear related to survival and that
all feelings are merely survival programs that the mind believes are necessary.
The letting go technique undoes the programs progressively. Through that
process, the underlying motive behind the feelings becomes more and more
apparent.
To be surrendered means to have no strong emotion about a thing: “It’s
okay if it happens, and it’s okay if it doesn’t.” When we are free, there is a
letting go of attachments. We can enjoy a thing, but we don’t need it for our
happiness. There is progressive diminishing of dependence on anything or
anyone outside of ourselves. These principles are in accord with the basic
teaching of the Buddha to avoid attachment to worldly phenomena, as well as
the basic teaching of Jesus Christ to “be in the world but not of

This is from pg; 187 Doc Hawkins along the path daily reflections.
Surrender of the personal will to the will (wisdom) of God (or
Providence or higher power) signifies relinquishment of control.
One can expect the ego to resist doing so,and it invents excuses,
counterarguments, and multiple fears in order to maintain illusory
control. The ego’s positions are reinforced by pride as well as desire
for specific results. Thus to the ego,to step back and invite the
intervention of Divinity seems like a loss;whereas,to the spirit,it
is definitely a win.

Compassion arises from the acceptance of human limitation
and by seeing that everyone is really the captive of his or her own worldview.
With nonattachment, there is no longer the pressure to
try to change the world or other people’s viewpoints, or to make
them wrong by virtue of disagreement.

I found this Abe quote about breathing.
Deep breathing is a big part of your well-being because with that deep breathing, there is an activation on a cellular level. In other words, it is the current that carries the vitality to the extremities of the cells. And so, the more you are breathing, the more you are thriving.
Some say it is the way the spirit moves. We would say it is the way life moves most efficiently through your physical body. And fortunately, it is something that is not left to your conscious mind. You don’t have to prompt yourself to breathe, it just happens. But, you can prompt yourself to breathe more.
We encourage that you deliberately take some air in. And then before you let it out, take some more air in. And before you let it out, and you say, I can’t take anymore in, because there is no place for it to go. And we say, yes there is, take some more in.
Expand your capacity. Your lungs, like balloons, can be all shriveled up, or expanded fully. As you move on a regular basis, they expand somewhat, but they don’t expand fully. As you deliberately breathe deeper, it becomes more natural for them to get fuller, and before you know it, it will be an involuntary thing. You will naturally breathe more deeply.
And your bodies will thrive. It’s even more important than drinking water. It’s right up there with life itself.
When concentrating on your breathing, you are not concentrating on other things. And in that absence of resistance, you are also allowing an alignment of energy. So you get a double whammy with it. You’re aligning with source energy. You are literally feeding the cells of you body, allowing oxygen to breathe the extremities of your cells. Everybody comes alive. and everything works better. Metabolism works better, elimination works better, clarity works better, blood flows better. Thriving comes from this.

Stillness
There are millions of alcoholics on this planet, I was one of them. Fact is if I don't take a drink I'm not an alcoholic.
Being a somewhat complex individual I tried for many years to get and stay sober.
The complexity with me was I was unaware of the fact that I needed to understand why I could not
stop drinking if I took a drink of booze. The answer to this mystery was the key that set me free from another relapse. Saying this because if your an alcoholic and still on the relapse merry go round, and wish you could simply be free of taking that first drink then I’ll share the key that
gave me the insight and power to not relapsing again, it just so happens that reading a book that clearly defined the problem was what saved me. I didn’t have a clue how much power I would naturally attain just by (UNDERSTANDING)why I DRANK TO COMPLETE DRUNKEN OBLIVION after
even a beer or any amount of alcohol. So understanding the facts of alcoholism may or may not be
the missing piece of the puzzle, but it was for me and what if reading a simple book was what was needed to free yourself. Your life is certainly worth the price of a book.
