<p>I think to a certain extent you&#8217;re right, however users still want control.  We&#8217;ve developed some twitter functionality for a social networking site that we run in the U.S and we found that users still wanted to be able to edit their message even after it had been published to the community.  At the moment I now have two very similar messages on the site but worded slightly differently, this doesn&#8217;t feel quite right.</p>

<p>Would help if I checked them more thoroughly before I published though! ;-)</p>

<p>I decided against allowing people to edit affirmations. If someone else was using them then the smallest edit might change what it means to them. Maybe I will allow edits if you created an affirmation and no-one else is using it. hmm :) Thanks for the suggestion!</p>

Good point, thanks Lee.  Great site by the way, I&#8217;ve needed an outlet for my affirmations for a while.  Wish it was easier to edit the affirmations though, need better control of them before they are published.</p>
